Mr. Gallina has been practicing law in the Nashville area since 2004. While enrolled in law school, Mr. Gallina worked as a law clerk for the Honorable James F. Russell of the Shelby County Circuit Court. Mr. Gallina was Vice President of the Student Bar Association and Vice Magistrate of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity at the University of Memphis. In 2004, he was awarded the Smith’s Distinguished Service Award and the CALI Award (highest grade) in Alternative Dispute Resolution/Mediation.  Mr. Gallina is a member of Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.

Mr. Gallina is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association. He is also licensed to practice in Kentucky.  Mr. Gallina has spoken at continuing legal education seminars discussing advanced issues in workers' compensation.  He is also a founding board member of the non-profit corporation, Round Up for Nolensville, Inc., which assists those in need in the Nolensville area.

Representative cases and matters in recent years include but are not limited to the following (does not include pending cases or matters):

• Recovered judgment in excess of $3.1 million on behalf of employee in retaliatory discharge action under T.C.A. Section 8-50-116 (whistleblower statute) following five-day bench trial and lengthy post-trial argument and briefing that spanned over one year after conclusion of proof.

• Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a school after two students were involved in an altercation. 

• Obtained s defense verdict in slip-and-fall case at a restaurant. 

• Counseled and represented many clients with regard to non-compete/non-solicitation agreements, separation agreements, and severance agreements.

• Counseled and represented many employees and employers regarding various employment-law matters.

• Represented numerous personal injury plaintiffs and defendants in litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, and food poisoning cases.

• Assisted in the organization and creation of numerous businesses/LLCs, including 10+ in Nolensville, Tennessee.

• Serve as outside general counsel for numerous small businesses and assist in drafting company policies, negotiating contracts/leases, asset sales/purchases, and employment issues.
